Staking and Delegation

Learn how staking and delegation work for Siriux validators and delegators.

Staking and Delegation

What is Staking?

Staking is the process of locking SIRI tokens to support the security and operations of the Siriux blockchain. Validators and delegators can participate in staking to earn rewards and contribute to network decentralization.

How Does Staking Work for Validators?

Validators must stake a minimum amount of SIRI tokens to be eligible for block validation. The more tokens staked:

✅ The higher the validator's chances of selection.
✅ The more rewards they can earn.
✅ The higher the responsibility (slashing risk if malicious or inactive).

Validator Staking Process

1️⃣ Set Up a Validator Node → [Setting Up a Validator Node]
2️⃣ Stake the Minimum SIRI Requirement
3️⃣ Register as a Validator on the Siriux Staking Dashboard
4️⃣ Ensure High Uptime to Earn Rewards

What is Delegation?

Delegation allows users to stake SIRI tokens with a validator without running a node themselves. Delegators support the network and earn rewards without technical expertise.

Delegation Process

  1. Open the Siriux Staking Dashboard.
  2. Choose a trusted validator.
  3. Enter the amount of SIRI tokens to delegate.
  4. Confirm the transaction and start earning rewards!

📌 Delegators should select validators carefully to minimize slashing risks.

Rewards and Slashing

Staking Rewards – Earned through block validation and network participation.
Slashing Penalties – Applied for validator misconduct, downtime, or double-signing blocks.

By staking or delegating SIRI tokens, you actively contribute to the security and growth of the Siriux blockchain! 🚀
